Privacy Policy — MoitMoit

Last updated: June 18, 2026

This policy explains what personal data the MoitMoit application (the “App”) collects, why, and what your rights are. It complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Processors and hosting

The App relies on Google Firebase (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) for authentication, real-time database, server functions, notifications, anonymous analytics and crash reporting. The database is hosted in the Belgium (European Union) region.

4. Transfers outside the EU

Some processing by Google may involve transfers outside the EU. Such transfers are governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and Google's safeguards. More: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

5. Retention

Your data is kept as long as your account exists. When you delete your account from the App, your personal data (email, membership, tokens) is erased. Your family's shared data (schedule, shopping…) remains accessible to the other parent, who remains responsible for it. Crash reports and anonymous statistics are retained according to Google Firebase's default durations.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection, and to withdraw consent at any time.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to a family's data is restricted to its members by server-side security rules, and the App is protected against abuse (Firebase App Check). Regular backups are performed.

8. Children

The App is intended for adults (parents). No account is created for a child. A child's first name optionally entered by a parent is used solely to organize the shared family schedule, under the responsibility of the parent who enters it.

9. Cookies and site analytics

This website (excluding the App) uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd) to measure aggregate traffic: number of visits, pages viewed, referral source. This tool stores analytics cookies on your device.

This processing concerns website browsing only and is separate from the App data described above. Learn more: Google's privacy policy.

10. Changes

This policy may be updated. The last-updated date appears at the top; significant changes will be signaled in the App.

11. Contact
